This 4K scenic drive follows a 182 km expressway journey from the southwestern outskirts of Beijing into the mountain landscapes of western Hebei, ending near Laiyuan in the Northern Taihang Mountains.

The drive begins on the G5 Jingkun Expressway before turning onto G9511 Lailai Expressway, where open terrain gradually gives way to mountain ridges, sweeping highway curves and long tunnel corridors. Around Yunmengshan, Zijingguan and Futuyu, the road repeatedly disappears beneath the mountains before emerging again into valleys, green slopes and open sky.

Rather than a city driving tour, this is a calm POV journey through northern China’s mountain expressway network — nearly two hours of uninterrupted highway travel through changing terrain, shifting skies and increasingly rugged surroundings.

The final stretch joins S10 Zhangshi Expressway toward Laiyuan, deep in the Northern Taihang region.
